Watchlist account data

Watchlist stores the account details, media entries, collections, reminders, and settings needed to provide the service. Private items remain excluded from browser-extension access.

Watchlist Sync extension

On supported Crunchyroll watch pages, the extension reads the series title, season and episode number, watch page URL, provider content identifier, and playback percentage. It sends those fields to Watchlist after playback begins and near episode completion. You confirm a new season match once before it adds an item or updates progress. Watchlist keeps the confirmed Crunchyroll link, last watched URL, and latest sync signal so you can reopen that episode from the item view.

The extension does not read Crunchyroll credentials, payment details, cookies, video contents, or browsing history outside supported watch pages. It does not sell data or use it for advertising.

Extension storage and control

Chrome stores a revocable Watchlist connection token, tracking preference, and recent sync status locally in the browser profile. You can pause tracking in the extension or revoke a connection from Watchlist at any time.
